Welcome to my new web site!
If you are reading this, then everything has finally worked together to bring you my new web site. It has been quite a learning expereince for this country girl, and I am still excited about getting this site up and inviting my friends to join me on this journey into the wired world of the internet. I must say it has been a daunting task learning this dreamweaver program to get basic page up and going, and then there are these server issues.

A few things that I have learned so far:
Just because a tutorial makes things look easy, when it comes time to getting what may appear to be simple things, like getting a picture to show up on the upper right of a page, can take hours of research and may not work the way you though it was.
Making a web site is only half, if not just a portion of the battle. Once you get page made, getting it online is a whole 'nother ball of wax. First finding a web hosting company takes some time and some money, although I think I found a couple of great places that let you get a page online for around $9.95 a month.
Next, getting the page to the server so it will show up on the internet, well that was major figuring out. You need what's called an ftp program, and then you ned to work with this server technology to ge things set up there as well. More and this journey later - bookmark this site!
